Outdoor Outdoor Film Festival (“OOFF”) is a celebration of stories of outdoor playgrounds from “local spots and scenes” around the world. Founded with the mission of sharing the natural beauty and adventures in our own backyards, OOFF seeks to bring people together through stories of living life to the fullest outdoors.

OOFF is emphasizing that a great adventure film doesn’t have be ripping down double-blacks at Banff or backpacking through the Mojave desert – it is the story, heart and soul of the film itself that make it special. We want to showcase films about the outdoors from places that aren’t the usual lineup you would see in other big mountain festivals.

OOFF is investing in the future of our planet and its people through the screening of socially-conscious and environmentally-positive media projects that inspire a spirit of outdoor adventure. Throughout the year OOFF serves as the host for special interest outdoor adventure film festivals including the Banff Mountain Film Festival, Paddling Film Festival, Women’s Adventure Film Tour, and more. As a platform for groups that align with our mission to promote outdoor lifestyles through rich media projects, our screenings and events seek to make an impact in environmental regeneration, protection and sustainability, while cultivating and growing stewardship of the natural environment.
